AWARDS
Awards – RAD 2015 Conference
The winners are awarded by not paying the conference fee for the next RAD Conference. Moreover, a Certificate will be given to the winners at the next RAD Conference.
Since we had large number of participants and a lot of high-quality papers, we have decided to give 5 awards – 2 for the best oral contributions, 2 for the best poster contributions and 1 for the best
student contribution.
Awards for the best oral contribution go to:
Nina Djordjevic
for the contribution:
N. Djordjevic, Antibiotic-loaded hydroxyapatite and calcium sulphate composite is a potent biomaterial for one stage treatment of the extensive infected bone defect (Topic: Biomaterials)
and
Laura Basiricò
for the contribution:
L. Basiricò, A. Ciavatti, M. Sibilia, G. Pipan, A. Fraleoni-Morgera, S. D'agostino, F. Grepioni, B. Fraboni, Direct X-ray detectors based on Organic Semiconducting Single Crystals (Topic: Radiation Detectors)
Awards for the best poster contribution go to:
Nevenka Antovic
for the contribution:
N. Antovic, S. Andrukhovich, A. Berestov, Background in a test of detecting cooperative parapositronium annihilation by the 32-crystal spectrometer ARGUS (Topic: Radiation Measurements)
and
Yuriy Demidov
for the contribution
Yu. Demidov, A. Zaitsevskii, Adsorption of superheavy element 113 single atoms on gold and quartz surfaces: a relativistic density functional study (Topic: Radiochemistry)
Award for the best student contribution goes to:
Gabriele Maria Grittani
for the contribution:
G. M. Grittani, Design and development of a high energy electron irradiation station for multi-disciplinary experiments (Topic: Radiation Physics)
We congratulate to all the nominees and to all the awarded participants,
and are looking forward to see you at the next RAD Conference!
